Updated: Jan 4

On 28 November, Knowle Masons gathered in front of Knowle Centre for Freemasonry. Hundreds of items were brought in to help people who cannot afford basic food and toiletries.

All bags were transferred from Knowle Centre for Freemasonry to the Christian Renewal Centre in Solihull which is in partnership with Solihull Council and Age UK Solihull. According to W. Bro. Peter McBride who led the organisation, they will be delivered to families in temporary and sheltered accommodation within the Solihull region.

In addition, the centre was kindly donated further £530 in cash which will be distributed to the Aston and Nechells food bank.

Following another round of successful food bank event, Knowle Centre for Freemasonry's director, McBride said: "Our thanks go out to all members of the centre for their generosity in these difficult times".
