The Knowle Masonic Centre held the PSA testing on May 24th. The testing was arranged with the support of the Graham Fulford Charitable Trust.
The day was organised by Neil Cappell, helped by Kevin Pegg and Richard Moore.
Masons and non-masons were welcomed at the centre, by
Chairman David Wright and his wife Rosemary.
We were very pleased to see that the number of men tested was twice the number from last year.
Two nurses from the trust efficiently took blood samples from 74 men on the day, and the results are given below in a traffic light system.

This means that of the 74 tests for prostate-specific antigen: 60 had no indicators, 8 had indicators advising frequenting testing should be done, and 6 had indicators recommending urgent contact with a health clinician.
On the day 10 people attended who had not booked in. Three of those thought they had booked.
For privacy reasons, to take a test you have to register an account on the Graham Fulford site (see below) . The process is automated so all tests are prepared in advance of the day and results can be forwarded to a designated email address.
The next test date at Knowle Masonic Centre will be the 23rd May 2026, and a link to register is here.
At the request of the Provincial Grand Master, Knowle Masonic Centre will be the Provincial Centre for future prostate testing.
