On the 6th November 2023 at Knowle Masonic Centre, Bro Peter Wright was initiated into the Lodge of Goodwill No. 3899 by his Father W Bro David Wright PProvJGW. Also at the meeting were his Grandfather W Bro Neville Wright PProvSGW and his Uncle W Bro John Hayward PAsstProvGM. On this occasion the Provincial Grand Lodge of Warwickshire was represented by W Bro David Butcher DProvGM.
A long-term friend of the Lodge of Goodwill RW Bro David Macey PProvGM along with several other special guests were also in attendance. After the ceremony W Bro “Dad” David Wright was very proud to advise the attending Brethren that Peter was the 10th member of his extended family to become a Freemason following in the line of Dad, Grandad, Uncle,
Grandpa, 2 Great Grandfathers and 3 Great Uncles.
Further details of their names and respective Lodges are shown above. By coincidence the meeting was also the 750th meeting of the Lodge of Goodwill which provided a perfect opportunity of a celebratory cake at the festive board.
