Teamwork supporting Myton Hospice in memory of
Mrs. Janet Lawrence

W.Bro. Ian Lawrence of Lodge of Alliance No.5811 wished to leave a lasting memory of his beloved wife Janet by supporting Myton Hospice, Warwick, where she spent the final days of her life under the care of the dedicated staff and volunteers work tirelessly to comfort patients and family during their darkest of days.
The Hospice identified a need for a therapy chair to allow patients, where possible, to spend time out of bed. The chair will provide comfort and support and be able to give the patient views of the garden while helping with their physical wellbeing.
Janet was a fantastic support for both Ian and Lodge of Alliance. Every Lodge meeting Festive Board had beautiful flower arrangements made by her. Lodge socials and Ladies Nights were similarly decorated. Handmade Ladies Night programmes and Lodge Officers Buttonholes.
Janet always had a smile and would happily chat with us all and quite often there would be a cheeky comment. We will all miss Janet and even though she is no longer with us her thoughtfulness towards others will continue with so many benefitting from the new therapy chair.
W.Bro. Ian and Family wish extend their sincere thanks for all the support of the members of Lodge of Alliance, Knowle Masonic Centre Community Fund and the WFCF without whom this donation would not have been possible. The total raised was £1,914.70.
